Adventure Activities in Zambia

Aside from its incredible National Parks and scenery, Zambia is fast becoming one of Africa’s most acclaimed adventure and extreme sports capitals. A range of action activities, mostly located in the Victoria Falls area, are drawing more and more visitors from all over the globe every year.

Abseiling

The helmeted client is attached to the main rope and safety rope from their harness. Then s/he is gently lowered over the platform. Slowly the rope is let out as the client makes their way down the rock face. Clients improve with each attempt and they can go down as often as time allows.

Bungee Jumping

The highest commercial bridge jump in the world in the most spectacular setting !
This must be the ultimate adrenaline rush, as you leap into space, free as a bird, saved from the swirling water below by the rebound of the cord, then hurtled upwards again at great speed. It’s an indescribable feeling that will probably change your life !

Imagine……Five….Four….Three…Two….One…Bungee !!!!!!

Flights over Victoria Falls

The so-called ‘flight of angels’ is undoubtedly the most breath-taking way to see the magnificent Victoria Falls in all their glory, and to get those picture postcard panoramic photos you have always dreamed of. This is also a great way to see the Zambezi River as it leads up to the Falls, as well as the formation of the spectacular gorges that are carved out below.

Surfing the Zambezi

Hydrospeeding
This is fun, it is exciting and it is easy to do. And it is in a unique location: in the Batoka Gorge, right below the historic bridge, just below the Victoria Falls. They have the new hydrospeed called the ‘Anvil’ that is easy to use: you don’t need prior experience in surfing or body boarding.

Swimming below the Victoria Falls

The most awesome perspective to see the Victoria Falls is from the bottom of the gorge. Swimming in the rock pools below the Falls, surrounded by the massive black basaltic rock towering up above you and the water cascading down, seemingly out of the sky, is an unforgettable experience!
